What Maisie Knew
Julianne Moore, Alexander Skarsgård, Steve Coogan, Joanna Vanderham, Ontana Aprile
An aging rock star (Moore) and a contemporary art dealer (Coogan)—Susanna and Beale are too self-involved even to notice their neglect and inadequacy as parents; their fight for Maisie is just another battle in an epic war of personalities. As they raise the stakes by taking on inappropriate new partners, the ex-nanny Margo and the much younger bartender Lincoln (Vanderham and Skarsgård), the shuffling of Maisie from household to household becomes more and more callous, the consequences more and more troubling. Always watchful, however, Maisie begins to understand that the path through this morass of adult childishness and selfish blindness will have to be of her own making.
The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White and her daughter Carrie. Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson, but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell, regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross, to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.

Julianne Moore, Greg Kinnear, Nathan Lane, Michael Angarano, Lily Collins, Nikki Blonsky
Linda Sinclair (Julianne Moore) is a 40-year-old unmarried high school English teacher in the small town of Kingston, PA. Her simple life turns an unexpected page when former student Jason Sherwood (Michael Angarano) returns home after trying to make it as a playwright in New York. On the verge of abandoning art and pressured by his father (Greg Kinnear), to face reality and go to law school, Linda decides to mount his play—a dark, angst-ridden, ambitious work—as a Kingston High production, with flamboyant drama teacher Carl Kapinas (Nathan Lane) directing. Now well out of her comfort zone, Linda takes further risks in life and love, the stage is set for a highly comic downfall. With the play, her reputation, and teaching career on the line, Linda finds an unlikely ally in herself. Amidst the ruins of her formerly perfect life, can she find a way to her own unique storybook ending?
Julianne Moore, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jeffrey DeMunn
Julianne Moore stars in this supernatural horror film as second-generation forensic psychiatrist Dr. Cara Jessup, whose career as an expert witness has been largely built on her firm testimony that so-called "multiple personality disorder" is a hoax or a myth -- and does not really exist. Over six killers have been convicted and sentenced to death based on her assertions, though Cara has remained firm in her beliefs, both about science and about God. All of those beliefs are shaken to the core, however, when her own husband is murdered, and her father introduces her to his own most challenging patient, a troubled young man named Adam -- who would seem to suffer from multiple personalities, each of which are the identities of murder victims. Soon, Cara is in a race against time to discover whether all her convictions have really been called into question or if she is merely a pawn in a psychotic, deadly game. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
